Victims hit by rescue truck: 1 of 2 deaths caused by fire truck?

Victims hit by rescue truck: 1 of 2 deaths caused by fire truck?, Were victims hit by a rescue truck after the SFO plane crash on Saturday? On July 7, Mercury News reported that there is an investigation pending because there is a chance that one of the two girls that died in the crash was actually killed by a rescue truck not in the actual plane crash.

"One of the girls appeared to have been thrown from the rear of the plane and landed on the runway when the tail broke off, the other was found near the wreckage," Mercury News reported. There is a chance that the girl who was found "near the wreckage" was hit and killed by one of the rescue vehicles -- and the San Mateo County coroner's office is working to find out if this was the case.

The victims possibly hit by the rescue truck would have suffered different types of injuries. If only one of the two victims died in the actual crash, that would be even more of a miracle. People simply cannot believe that more people weren't killed when the Asiana Airlines plane hit the ground, lost its tail, and spun around before coming to a halt and catching on fire.

Rescue vehicles raced to the terrifying scene and it is possible that someone thrown from the plane was run over by one of those vehicles -- the medical examiner should be able to determine this for sure.

"Well there were a lot of reports given to me, some substantiated and some not. I cannot go into that because it has not been substantiated. When we were out at the crash site looking for additional bodies we had all kinds of speculative conversations that were going on and everybody was patient to say that we have to wait for all these reports," explained San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee.
