Google making game console, Google Inc. is developing a videogame console and a digital wrist watch -- both of which use the company's Android mobile operating system -- according to a report Thursday afternoon by the Wall Street Journal.The company is also reportedly working on a second version of its Nexus Q network media device. Citing unnamed sources "familiar with the matter," the Journal said the company is hoping to release at least one of these products this fall.
The sources said the company is hoping to counter similar devices that arch-rival Apple Inc. may develop. Google shares closed regular trading up 0.4% to $877.07 on Thursday prior to the report.
