Lil Snupe Laid To Rest In Front Of Huge Crowd In His Hometown

Lil Snupe Laid To Rest In Front Of Huge Crowd In His Hometown, Lil Snupe was laid to rest in front of hundreds of mourners who had gathered to pay their respects to the teenage prodigy who was gunned down earlier this month. So many people turned up in fact that his family were forced to hold back the ceremony for a three hours as an unannounced surplus of mourners showed up to say farewell to to the young rapper.

Jonesboro-Hodge High School, the school that Snupe - real name Adderran Ross - held the funeral on Saturday (June 29) in his native Jonesboro, Louisiana. The funeral was held at around 1 pm, three hours after the planned ceremony so that all the well wishers could give their last respects to the Lil Snupe, as per the family's request.

The 18-year-old protégée of Meek Mill, who still looked visibly shaken as he sat through the ceremony, has come ten days after he was gunned down in Winnfield, Louisiana, by suspect Tony D. Holden, who has since handed himself into police. Holden turned himself in on Tuesday (25 June) where he was kept in custody at the Winnfield Police Department

Lil Snupe signed to Meek Mill’s record label Dreamchasers earlier this year and was considered by some of his contemporaries to be on the verge of making his name in the rap game. The investigation into his death is still ongoing, but with Holden now in custody Ross' family and friends can hopefully sleep a little easier at night.
