Mermaid hoax on Animal Planet upsets a lot of viewers, Animal Planet recently showed a show about mermaids that made it look like a documentary. It honestly was just a hoax though and a lot of viewers are upset that they believed it. On May 30, News Max posted that a lot of viewers are really disappointed.

This show was called "Mermaids: The New Evidence." They have already done one of these a few years ago and people fell for the hoax then. Viewers thought that this new one would be real, but it turned out that it wasn't at all.

Charlie Foley the creator of the show thought that the documentary feel would make the show more believable. They did have a small disclaimer at the end of the show, but of course a lot of people did not watch that part of it.

Twitter went crazy after the mermaid hoax. People are upset and complaining that they will never watch Animal Planet again. How do you know what to believe and what will just be another lie by the channel?
